Harvey Norman is a bit like Comet and Currys. They stock white goods,
almost any electrical item you want, furniture and beds.
They often run promotions on most items all of the time from coffee machines to
LCD TVs. But be aware though, Harvey Norman is a franchise and as such
a Manager's offer in one store is not valid in another. But on most items
you should expect to be able to drop them down in price quite heavily. Even
on the smallest items you can expect a good discount, but you will only get it if
you ask
Another thing that you should be aware of is that as it is a franchise, the delivery
of items is contracted out to specialised companies. However in the event
of a problem with the delivery, such as damage caused by the delivery men, Harvey
Norman are VERY slow in helping you out. We learnt the hard way, but
if you can take the item with you there and then, then it is the best option.
