Telephone providers in Australia give much the same kind of packages as in the UK. Also
as with the UK it seems the larger the telephone company, the worse the customer
service gets! Saying that we are with Telstra (the largest of the 'Big
4') and not had any issues with them to date.

want too, so there really is quite a bit to choose from.
Much like the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) that is on offer to residential
customers in the UK, Australia has the
Do Not Call Register. It takes about 1 month to come into effect
and is supposed to stop Telemarketers from calling you.
