Rebates

Both the Australian Government and local Councils offer a wide range of environmental rebates.  Rebates are given after the work is complete and as such means that you would have to fork out the full amount initially for the work to be done and claim back the rebate afterwards.  However, alot of companies will do the paperwork for you meaning that at the end of the job you simply sign and send off the rebate application.

Often the work needs to be carried out by an appropriately skilled person, so please check any restrictions on the rebate before carrying out any work yourself.
